Introduction
Sand dryer, also named as river sand dryer or quartz sand dryer, can process a large number of materials as a drying equipment, with reliable operation, operating flexibility, well-adapted and large capacity. It is generally adapted to granular materials, especially river sand, manufactured sand, quartz sand, mineral powder and coal cinder. The sand drying machine has advantages of wide application range, low flow resistance, the operation allowed large fluctuation range, easy to operate, etc.

Working Principle
The sand is conveyed by belt conveyor or bucket elevator to the hopper, and comes into the feeding end of the rotary sand dryer by a feeding device through a feeding pipe. The obliquity of the feeding pipe should be larger than that of the sand, so that the sand can slip into the dryer easily. The wet sand and hot air can enter into the dryer from the same feeding end, naming as co-current air flow drying process. They can also be fed into the dryer from different ends, calling count-current air flow drying process. When the dryer is rotating, the sand moves forward from the feeding end (higher end) to the discharging end (lower end) of the dryer, and during this time, wet sand is being dried by the hot air. Finally, dried materials are discharged and conveyed away by belt conveyor or screw conveyor.
